Sweeney Todd Casting Update

The Tim Burton film version of Stephen Sondheim's musical masterpiece "Sweeney Todd" has announced some new cast members. Most prominent is Alan Rickman who will be playing the sinister Judge Turpin. Rickman is deft at playing baddie's such as Snape in the Harry Potter films and Hans Gruber in "Die Hard".

Anthony Head (beloved to many like me as Giles on "Buffy the Vampire Slayer") has been cast in the film, but no news yet as to which character he will be playing.
